I'm Wendy
My goal with female empowerment photography is to capture that feeling
when a woman truly realizes just how beautiful
SHE REALLY IS.
Perhaps she walks in a little nervous, or even insecure.
However, if I do my job, she will leave my studio standing a little taller
with her head held high feeling and knowing that
she can conquer anything.
I am a photographer, and a single mother of an amazing 11 year old girl, and we conquer the world together
with our three rescue pets (let's be honest they are all foster failures).
I love black tea in the morning, and a good margarita and Mexican food on Taco Tuesday nights.
I love movies, all types of music (especially country), live concerts, hikes in the woods (all things nature), animals of every shape and size,
the autumn season & firepits, good kisses & strong hugs, and being by the water.
I am extremely creative and I absolutely love shooting photography.
When I am not being creative I am making memories with my daughter, or entertaining friends that I absolutely adore.
I have been shooting professionally for over 20 years, but I love learning every day. I am a perfectionist at heart, but I am learning to knock that off because life is short.
Like most women I struggle with my self esteem, and things I want to fix.
However, as I have gotten older I am making time for self love & grace.
I fell in love with photography from the age of 8, and I have recently found that this genre of boudoir photography truly fills me up.
I get to work with amazing women of all ages and from of all walks of life and help them look and feel their best.
I am here to cheer you on throughout the entire luxury portrait experience.
